*please note that we can only do VHS and VHS-C (mini VHS) tapes. We do not accept MiniDV, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, or other types of tapes. Please be aware that this process takes some time. In order to transfer the tapes to a digital format the video must play all the way through in real time. If filled, most VHS tapes are 2 hours long and most VHS-C tapes are an hour long. It is not uncommon for us to have multiple orders at the same time, so for this reason turnaround times are one week for every one tape purchased.
Many big-box retailers like Walmart and Costco offer a similar service but by transferring your tapes to a CD... and lets be honest, we're past that time also! At a comparable cost, we will digitalize your tapes and put them on a customized external hard drive sent right to your door.

If you're anything like my parents, you probably have a giant box of old VHS tapes tucked in the back of the closet. Tapes full of your kids' T ball games, birthday parties, Christmases, all kinds of precious memories. But they never get watched because who has a VHS player nowadays?
Over time tapes begin to deteriorate causing discoloration, blacked out scenes, and eventually complete loss of footage. Did you gasp also?
I've said it before and I'll say it again.. your tapes will not last forever!!

You can purchase however many tapes you would like digitalized along with the custom external hard drive. *The hard drive is required for purchasing any number of tapes as that is how we will return the digital files to you.
STEP ONE
You mail me however many tapes you purchased for digitalization, or if you are local and would prefer it, I am happy to meet up somewhere to get them from you! Mailing information will be provided upon placing an order.
STEP TWO
I send you back all of your physical tapes along with a customized box and external hard drive filled with your most precious memories!
